Indian Scout Sixty

Indian Motorcycle is a renowned American  motorcycle manufacturer who has recently showcased its most affordable cruiser machine at the 2015 EICMA. Named as Indian Scout Sixty, the bike makes it debut in India in 2016 Auto Expo and it is the second member of the Scout family in the Indian line-up after “Indian Scout”. It will be available in three colors namely White, Black and Red.
 

The little cruiser expected to come with a powerful 999.6cc(61 cubic inches), liquid-cooled, four-valve, V-twin parallel engine that will belt out 77 bhp at 7300 rpm and 88.8 Nm at 5800 rpm. The closed loop fuel injected mill will be mated to a 5-speed transmission system. The total kerb weight of the bike is 246 kgs.
 

Talking about the looks, the bike will feature round shaped headlight. The manufacturer has used less chrome which makes it slightly different from its elder sibling Scout. The frame, wheels, powertrains and the seat will come wrapped in black color. Apart from that, the cruiser bike will be equipped with a huge curved fuel tank of 12.5 liters and a digital instrument cluster.
 

Scout Sixty expected to come with a dimension of 2311 mm in length, 880 mm in width, 1207 mm in height along with a wheelbase of 1562 mm. It will also sport a seat height of 643 mm and minimum ground clearance of 135mm. The machine will be riding on 130/90 front and 150/80 rear broad tyres that are further mounted on a 16-inch wheels. The braking system will be loaded with same as its elder sibling Indian Scout, which is 298 mm disc brake with a dual-piston caliper at the front and 298 mm disc brake with single piston caliper at the rear. Furthermore, it will also share it suspension system with it elder family member that consists of telescopic forks at the front and dual hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear.
