Key Specs of 300SR
CFMoto 300SR Highlights
In our exclusive interaction with the CEO of CFMoto India, we’ve learnt the CFMoto 300SR is all set to be launched in India around October-December this year. It will enter our shores via the CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route, likely commanding a price tag of Rs 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom). This would make it pricier than its naked sibling, the CFMoto 300NK BS6, by Rs 20,000. Check out more details in our report here. The 300SR will rival the TVS Apache RR 310 BS6 and the KTM RC200.
In terms of styling, the bike features a sharp design language with full fairing, a tall windscreen, clip-on handlebars, rear-set footpegs, and a split seat. Feature-wise, the 300SR gets LED lights and a full-digital instrument console with two interfaces.
The CFMoto 300SR is powered by a 292cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine which belts out 29.2PS at 8750rpm and 25.3Nm at 7250rpm -- 1.33PS and 0.3Nm more than the 300NK, in its BS4 form. Expect the BS6 iteration to belt out more or less similar figures. It gets a 6-speed transmission with a slipper clutch.
It employs a trellis frame paired with a USD fork and a monoshock. Its braking setup comprises disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS. At 780mm, the seat height is on the lower side for a supersport. But the ground clearance isn’t all that much, at 135mm.
