Yamaha unveiled its Yamaha Alba in Indian market to join the bandwagon of commuter bikes in India. This upgraded bike,Yamaha Alba, comes in two variants viz. Yamaha Alba Alloy and Yamaha Alba Spoke. The bike suits to those commuters who prefer fuel economy and low maintenance. The bike has to compete with the likes of TVS Star Sport, Bajaj Platina, Hero Honda CD Deluxe.

It's refined engine churns out a top power of 7.6 Ps at 7,500 rpm and develops a peak torque of 7.85 Nm at 6,000 rpm. Yamaha Alba uses four speed constant mesh gearbox with multiplate wet type clutch. Now the bike incorporates self and kick starting options.
