TVS Motor Company is one of the best two-wheeler manufacturing companies of India. XL Super HD was introduced to cater both the urban and rural crowd. This improved moped can carry a good amount of luggage along with a rider and a pillion. For commuting in the city, the moped serves well maneuvering through the traffic quite easily. XL Heavy Duty is equipped with a 69.9cc, two-stroke engine that puts out a power of 3.5 bhp at 5,000 rpm with a peak torque of 5 Nm at 3,750 rpm.

It progresses on 2.5”x16” tyre fitted at both the front and rear end. For braking power, the moped is equipped with 80mm drum brakes at the front and 110mm drum brakes at the rear wheel. The suspension duties are carried out by telescopic spring type shock absorbers up front and hydraulic swing arm shock absorbers at the rear end. The two-wheeler has a fuel storage of 5 litres including 1 litre of reserve capacity.

Coming to the instrument cluster, it houses analog speedometer, odometer and turn indicator signal and high-beam signal. The headlight unit on the moped is round in shape, whereas the tail light gets a simple rectangular look. Turn indicators are also available with XL Super HD, no other moped carries turn indicators. A separate seat for both the rider and pillion makes the riding comfortable. The kerb weight of this moped is 75 kg, which makes it easy to handle in heavy traffic conditions.

The moped is not designed for its looks, it is focused on good fuel economy and utility of the occupants. XL Super HD is designed to carry some luggage and is very lightweight for easy control. TVS has done its bit to make the moped look as good as possible. For enhancing its looks, the company has offered the vehicle with a wide range of color options. The front profile features a rounded headlamp unit with clear lens turn indicators. The rear end is given a rectangular tail light cluster. It has a reserve fuel capacity 1 litre out of a total fuel storage capacity of 5 litres to carry out daily work without refuelling after a few kilometers of riding. For storage, the moped has a small glove box underneath the rider seat. Pillion seat is a separate unit, which can be set-apart for carrying more luggage when required. The sleek silencer gets a totally black treatment that adds some premiumness to the two-wheeler. The instrument cluster consists of analog speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge.

TVS XL Super HD comes equipped with a 69.9cc, single-cylinder, two-stroke engine that comes mated to an automatic transmission. It generates a net power output of 3.5 bhp at 5,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 5 Nm at 3,750 rpm. It also comes with an air-cooled engine that uses Flywheel 12V x 50W electronic ignition and has a bore x stroke ratio of 46mm x 42mm. With this arrangement, the moped gives a good performance and returns an impressive mileage assisted by a fuel tank capacity of 5 litres.

The moped progresses on 2.5” X 16” front and rear tyre wrapped over spoke wheels. For stopping power, it gets 80mm and 110mm drum brakes at the front and rear wheel respectively. Apart from this, the company has furnished it with hydraulic spring arm shock absorbers at the rear and telescopic spring shock absorbers at the front end for comfortable riding. It has a wheelbase of 1,222mm and a kerb weight of 75 kg that the stability and handling of the moped.

TVS XL Heavy Duty comes equipped with a powerful 12V-35/35W headlight that promises proper visibility of road in the dark. Apart from this, it comes with twin rear view mirrors, which provide the idea of the following traffic to the rider. It also has turn indicators fitted at both the front and rear ends, minimising the risk of accidents.
