Royal Enfield Scrambler 650

The Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 has been spied testing in India once again. And this time it sports some intriguing bits.

The 650cc Royal Enfield Scrambler was spotted in India once again. Click here to check it out. This bike was also spotted abroad. It features more scrambler-ish bodywork and looks good! 

The test mule sits on the same frame as the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. That said, it gets a different seat. It has an upside down fork, different from the ones seen on the Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650, and the twin shocks are not gas charged as the ones found on the Interceptor 650. That said, they’ll still be preload-adjustable. 

Other underpinnings include a disc brake at both ends and dual-channel ABS will most likely come as standard. The wheels on the test mule are wire spoke units. 

While its launch is probably still quite some time away, Royal Enfield could price it from Rs 3.15 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. For perspective, the Interceptor 650’s prices start from Rs 2,88,814 (ex-showroom Delhi). Once here, it'll go up against the Moto Morini Seiemmezzo 6 ½.
