Triumph Daytona 675 Production Ceased; Good News Or Bad?

The company might introduce a new Euro 4 compliant model of the bike by the year end, and it could be the Daytona 765 (not a typo).

If some reports are to be believed, British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has stopped the production of the Daytona 675. Now, the news could be equally good or bad. The company might discontinue this middleweight supersport bike by the year end due to the upcoming Euro 4 emission norms. This has already taken its toll on some motorcycles, like the Honda CBR600RR that recently stopped production too. But the good news is that some speculations say the company might replace it with a new Euro 4 compliant model.

As we reported earlier, Triumph is bringing a new larger capacity Street Triple 765 which could be launched in 2017. The bike is speculated to be powered by an 800cc triple and was also spotted testing a couple of months back. We believe that, like the current generation bikes, the upcoming Daytona will also share the high-performance version of the same powertrain and could be called Daytona 765.

The Triumph Daytona 675R is one of the best-performing middleweight supersports, with a 675cc inline-triple engine delivering 118.5PS at 12,500rpm and 70.2Nm at 9,900rpm (India-spec model). The bike weighs just 169kg (dry) and is capable of achieving a top speed of over 255kmph with a 0-100kmph sprint time of merely 3 seconds. It comes packed with the features like ABS, slip-assist clutch, quickshifter, programmable rev lights and many other racing assist features.

Good Experience

The Triumph Daytona 675 offers a compelling alternative to the Japanese supersport bike market. Whichever version you choose, you're bound to be impressed. Its elevated seat height instills a sense of immediate control over this powerful machine, albeit it may feel slightly daunting initially.Read More

Best Performance

Exceptional performance, making it the best in its class at 675cc. Surpassing even the Z900, its engine is truly remarkable, earning it the title of a beast on the road.

Engine Refinement Is Also Good

It is the best 600cc category bike. The power is enormous in this bike, and engine refinement is also good.
