Like some other two-wheeler manufacturers in India, Suzuki is also going to sell its two-wheelers online in the country. For the purpose, the company has partnered with one of the India's most popular online marketplaces- Snapdeal. Customers will be able to browse Suzuki products on the Snapdeal Motors platform, select a vehicle, book it (via online payment of booking amount) and select a dealership in their vicinity from where the vehicle can be picked up. As an initial launch offer, buyers who purchase Suzuki vehicles on Snapdeal can avail 1 year free vehicle insurance.
According to Mr. Masayoshi Ito, Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycles India Pvt Ltd., “A tie up with an online giant like Snapdeal was a logical choice for Suzuki as internet and e-commerce is starting to become a popular channel in India. We are sure that this collaboration will be profitable for Snapdeal, Suzuki and our customers.”
Commenting on the tie up, Tony Navin, Senior Vice President, Partnerships and Strategic Initiatives, Snapdeal said, “We are excited about having Suzuki two wheelers on our newly launched Snapdeal Motors platform. Our motors platform has been specifically designed to provide the most hassle free auto loan application process to all our customers.
