Mahindra Two Wheelers has launched a new variant of its latest 110cc scooter- Gusto HX at Rs. 46,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The scooter is already available in two variant options, a base variant- DX and a featureful variant- VX, priced at Rs. 44,800 and 48,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. The new variant has been introduced to bridge the gap between these two with taking a most important and first-in-class features of the VX- adjustable seat height along with all the characteristics of the DX.

The Mahindra Gusto HX houses the same 109.6cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled M-TEC engine, which has been designed by Italy based Engines Engineering. The refined mill makes 8bhp of maximum power at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 9Nm at 5,500rpm. Using a carburetor type fuel system, the scooter claims to return a mileage upto 63.5kmpl and has a top speed around 90kmph. It takes between 11-13 seconds to do a sprint from 0-60kmph in standard conditions.

The adjustable seat height of Mahindra Gusto HX increases the comfort of riding for the riders with different heights. With an easy mechanism provided under the seat, you can adjust the seat height between 735mm to 770mm. You just have to pull a knob provided in the under-seat storage box and adjust the height of the seat rest as per the requirement. During this adjustment, a mechanical seat click mechanism will hold the seat in open position to make the process more convenient. Now the short height rider can rest his whole feet comfortably on ground during every stop.

The new Mahindra Gusto HX runs on 12” wheels, which comes with low maintenance tubeless tyres. The scooter has telescopic forks at the front, while unit spring loaded hydraulic suspension at the rear. Both the front and rear wheel have been equipped with a 130mm drum type brake unit, which performs quite well. The scooter comes with an easy to read analog instrumentation and also features a quick storage at the front. Along with a well designed bright headlight, it features twin LED positioning lamps.

Mahindra Gusto is available in 6 attractive colour options- Iceberg White, Galactic Black, Magnetic Magenta, Volcanic Red, Arctic White and Raven Black.

Do not purchase this scooter

This is the worst scooter. I mean I have never seen any other scooter with such bad performance it breaks down every single day it doesn’t start in the morning even with a full tank of fuel after having it serviced it still breaks down I’ve had countless problems. I recommend not to buy gusto it’s my only means of transportation and its performance is so bad as to waste money.Read More
