Hero Honda, India's largest two wheeler manufacturer has registered a sales increase of 23.57 per cent in the month of January this year as compare to the sales in same period of last year. Company sold 3,89,802 units of its two wheelers compare to 3,15,458 units sold in January last year. In a statement company stated that the January 2010 sales is highest-ever sales figure by the company in a month period. Besides this company is planning to launch 3 new vehicles by the last quarter of this fiscal year. This is the 13th consecutive month in which the Hero Honda sold more than 3 lakh vehicles. Anil Dua, Hero Honda Motors Senior Vice President (Marketing & Sales), said in a statement that these exciting sales figures in the starting month of the year has provide an excellent start to the company for year 2010. He also added that the sales growth achieved in the month of January this year is significant as the company created a high base to manufacture its two wheeler in same period last year.
