The lineup might include two electric scooters and one e-bike

  • CFMoto is expected to launch its first electric offering by late 2021.
  • The electric scooters will be premium offerings to take on the Ather 450X.
  • All electric offerings will be available at CFMoto dealerships along with its petrol-powered bikes.

After a long hiatus, CFMoto has finally stepped back into the game by launching the BS6 300NK in India. Check out our launch story for full details. And along with its petrol-powered offerings, the Chinese manufacturer plans to introduce its electric two-wheeler range in India too. According to our sources, CFMoto will soon bring its electric offerings to India, including two e-scooters and one e-bike, by year-end.

CFMoto will first bring in its electric scooter followed by the bikes. The brand is set to receive the prototypes in 1-2 months, and if everything goes to plan, the launch is expected by late 2021. The scooter is expected to be based on CFMoto’s Zeeho Cyber concept, which boasts of an IP67-certified, water-cooled motor with a peak output of 13.5PS and a tremendous 213Nm. Check out our story for full details about the Cyber concept.

Furthermore, our sources revealed the scooter will be pretty technologically advanced and capable of reaching 0-50kmph in just 2.9 seconds. It is expected to be priced above Rs 1.5 lakh given the tech and performance, and compete with the Ather 450X, the current benchmark for e-scooters in India. Read our review to find out how it impressed us.

On the other hand, CFMoto’s electric motorcycle is likely to debut in 2022. It is expected to get the same underpinnings as the 300NK along with a host of modern tech like the e-scooter.

CFMoto plans to keep all its offerings right from the electric scooters to its high-end motorcycles all under one roof.
