Pune-based Evtric Motors has unveiled three electric two-wheelers at the ongoing EV India Auto Expo 2021. The startup’s first product is an electric motorcycle, called Rise, which was accompanied by two electric scooters, Mighty And Ride Pro. Though the prices haven’t been announced yet, the company has revealed the key specifications of these three models.

The Evtric Rise uses a 3kWh lithium-ion battery pack capable of a claimed range of 120km. While the company hasn’t divulged any details of the motor, it is claimed to have a top speed of 100kmph. Aesthetically, the Evtric Rise could be passed off as any regular ICE commuter. However, it features some unique elements like the LED DRL surround on the headlight and the tank-mounted LEDs. It even flaunts a faux trellis frame, though the actual frame seems to be a single downtube unit.

The Evtric Mighty too is styled like a traditional ICE two-wheeler, and is claimed to have a 70kmph top speed and a 90km range. Its sibling, the Ride Pro, boasts a top speed of 75kmph and has a claimed range of 90km. Evtric hasn’t revealed any details on the battery or the motor, but we reckon both the models use the same motor and battery packs.

Evtric Motors claims to have over 70 distributors across the country, and intends to double the number by the end of the next fiscal year. The startup currently has presence in its home state of Maharashtra, along with Delhi-NCR, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka.

While we still await the company’s announcement on the launch timeline and pricing, we expect the Evtric Rise to be priced a few thousand rupees cheaper than the Revolt RV400, while the e-scooters will compete against products from Hero Electric, Eeve Bikes and Ampere.
