Bajaj has launched the 2025 Bajaj Chetak 3001 in India at a price of Rs 99,990 (ex-showroom). The Chetak 3001 is now the most-affordable Bajaj Chetak variant, and cheaper than the Bajaj Chetak 2903 which costs Rs 1,09,998 (ex-showroom Delhi). Here’s a detailed breakdown of everything it gets:

In terms of design, the e-scooter has the same neo-retro styling as other models in the Bajaj Chetak lineup. But where most of the changes have happened is inside the scooter. The Chetak 3001 has a floorboard-mounted battery pack and gets a massive 35-litre underseat storage space, similar to other models in the 35 lineup.
The bigger underspace storage is a massive upgrade compared to the 21-litre storage space which was offered earlier on the 2903 variant. This will make it a lot more practical as a family-oriented scooter, as it will be easier to store more groceries and other items.

Coming to the power and performance, the scooter is powered by a 3kWh battery pack which offers a claimed range of 127km. This is a slight increase compared to the Bajaj Chetak 2901’s claimed range of 123km. It takes 3 hours 50 minutes to juice up the battery pack from 0-80%.
In terms of features, the Chetak 3001 has similar goodies on offer as the Bajaj Chetak 2903. This includes a colour-LCD console, with optional Tec Pac. The Tec Pac unlocks the ability to accept/reject calls, control music and other features such as hill hold assist (helps in operating the e-scooter on an inclined road without rolling down), Guide Me Home Lights (they stay lit for a while even after taking the key off, providing illumination in the parked area), among others

With these features, and the slight bump in terms of performance, the Chetak 3001 feels like a good upgrade to the Bajaj Chetak 2903. At the price tag of Rs 99,990 (ex-showroom), the scooter is also quite affordable and rivals the TVS iQube and Ola S1 X.
Bajaj Chetak User Reviews
- Hamara bajaj is now hamara chetakevI had purchased it when ev was new in market, I am very much satisfied. I had drove it for more than 50000 kms with no expense. I had to change only tyres and regular service only one auxiliary battery of Rs. 800 had been changed. I am quiet impressed me and my son both have purchased but there is very less front space between handle and seat to carry extra luggage vegetables or ration need to improve in this area good service staff in patni and Nagpur. I will recommend everyone to go for this ev only. Positive, Very good for local commute, I had recovered all the money spend for purchase, me and my son had not spend a single penny for petrol, very pleasant ride for city and highway also but with limitation of distance. mid age person college boys with huge space in seat box for helmet and laptop girls working women also it's value for money, I had already 2 chetak with me and both vehicle had been run for 50000 and 23000 kms planning to purchase one more for my wife.Read More9 10
