Bajaj Chetak C25 Features Explained: Gets The Basics Right
It might be the most affordable Chetak scooter, but still gets all the necessary features. Here’s a deep-dive

Bajaj launched the new Chetak C25 in India at Rs 91,399 (ex-showroom price). Also called the Chetak C2501, it is the most affordable e-scooter in the Chetak lineup. Even though it’s the cheapest Chetak scooter in India, it still comes with a neat list of features. We explain it in detail:
Lighting Setup
The Bajaj Chetak C25 gets an all-LED lighting setup with a retro-styled LED headlamp, a horseshoe-shaped LED DRL, and LED indicators. They look pretty premium, in our opinion. One interesting aspect about the Chetak C25 is that its indicators are mounted on the headlamp cowl, unlike other Chetak electric scooters, where they are mounted on the apron. The scooter also has the ice cube-style tail light that is quite beautiful.

If you get the TecPac with the scooter, you also get ‘Guide Me Home’ lights that stay on for some time after the scooter is switched off. This helps you navigate your way through unlit areas.
Digital Instrument Console
The Bajaj Chetak C25 comes with a colour LCD instrument console, which is quite well laid out. It also gets smartphone connectivity for call and SMS alerts. Additionally, if you opt in for the ‘TecPac’, which costs Rs 3,000 extra, you also get the option to play/pause music on the go. Do note that there’s no turn-by-turn navigation available.

Riding Aids
The Chetak C25 gets a front disc and a rear drum brake setup, with a combined braking system that helps the rider apply brake pressure more evenly across the front and the rear wheels. The e-scooter also gets two riding modes: Eco and Sports, through which you can modulate the scooter’s responsiveness and acceleration. It also comes with a reverse mode that helps with manoeuvring the scooter in tricky spots. The scooter also has hill hold control, which makes it easy to ride (or start the EV) on inclines.
Convenience Features
The scooter’s convenience features include a 25-litre boot, enough to carry daily groceries, and a USB charging port in the right glovebox on the apron. Do note that both left and right gloveboxes are open. There’s an apron-mounted hook to secure your grocery bags too. It even gets flush-fit rear footpegs, which goes well with the retro design of the scooter.

All in all, though the Chetak C25 may not have fancy features like TVS Orbiter’s cruise control, it still has all the essentials in place, while also looking as premium as the higher-end Chetak variants. If you’re looking to buy one, check out the Chetak C2501’s on-road prices.
2026 Bajaj Chetak User Reviews
- High price
This is very High price at this type of features, they give only 55km/charge very low. Lots of company give better than its and also give its upper variant only 15k more. Bajaj chetak brand authority service centre also not available most city's, but its body is metallic and it's a very good feature at this point.
- the scooter experience
It is a good scooter for highways but in the city ride it does not feel comfortable, the posture of scooter is not good in comparison tvs iqube is a good option for city riding but who want new experience it is good choice for them. Don't buy it for city rides. It is ok for normal rides but not for city traffic.
