Considered as the most classy machine from Harley-Davidson lineup, Night Rod comes straight away from the V-Rod family that made its presence in 2009. With an excellent ride quality, the bike is one of the most reliable high-end cruiser machines.

The bike is featured with a 1,245cc, 60° V-Twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces a peak torque of 111 Nm at 7,250rpm. To accompany the engine with the full throttle, the bike has a five-speed gearbox. To improve engine performance and avoid rear wheel lock-up a slipper clutch is assembled with the machine that also prevents the bike from losing the revs in the case of downshifting. The bike runs 100 km's in 6.3 liters of fuel.

Harley-Davidson Night Rod is equipped with Michelin Scorcher tyres, which are measured at a 120/40-ZR19 front and 240/40/R18 rear to provide a good grip on streets. For comfort, inverted telescopic forks and spring assisted shock absorbers are given, front and rear respectively. A pair of four-piston calliper disc brakes is given to give its best during emergencies. Other than this, the bike is offered with Brembo brakes loaded with ABS (Anti-lock braking system) for stable braking.

The bike has a sleek front end and a stylish rounded headlamp. To give it a sporty touch, Night Rod has been given orange coloured racing stripes, as it looks magnificent on this all-black theme machine. Night Rod delivers a stress-free ride because of its two-up bucket seat and upright riding posture given by a low-rise handlebar. The tail lamp is all LED, which looks majestic with this huge machine. The bike is measured at a body length of 2,400mm and a wheelbase of 1,705mm. To make it look best in the segment, a double-barrel exhaust is given that boosts the visuals of the bike.

The bike is provided with a high-performance ABS that delivers a perfect secure braking experience to the rider. Also, 12V-35/35W headlamp lights make sure to light up the street in the dark. An impressive Harley Davidson Security System is given that comprises of an innovative ignition fob. This fob works automatically, which activates and deactivates the electronic system with respect to rider’s distance with his machine and the remaining work is done by just touching it to the rounded ignition key ring. To maintain a good grip on the road, Michelin Scorcher tyres are fitted with the bike. It also improves ride quality to make the journey more comfortable.

Harley-Davidson offers Brembo four-piston calliper disc brakes for both, front and rear along with an Anti-Lock braking system (ABS). Other than that, the bike moves on a 240/40-R18 rear and 120/70-ZR19 front tyres with attractive 5-spoke cast aluminium wheels with orange pinstripe.
