I wanted a budget bike with good pickup and mileage for daily use. TVS Raider felt well balanced for both city and highway rides. I ride more than 50 kms daily and it is easy to handle and affordable to maintain. Ride is comfortable and pickup is really good in city traffic. Bike can move even from 2nd gear with good clutch control. Mileage is around 52 in city and 58 on highways. Vibrations mostly start after reaching the speed of 90 kmph. Yes, I would recommend this bike for beginners, students and office commuters. It is easy to ride daily, gives good mileage and looks decent. Not meant for aggressive riding or very high speed highway usage.
