The BMW S 1000 XR is designed to be a power-packed sporty tourer with comfortable ergonomics. The characteristic asymmetric headlights dominate the beak-like front, with a large windscreen up top. The ergonomics are upright for optimum comfort over long distances. This motorcycle employs a 999cc, in-line 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled heart that’s good for 164.5PS at 11,000rpm, and 114Nm at 9250rpm. The 6-speed transmission with anti-hopping clutch is mechanically controlled. It gets electronic nannies such as ‘Rain’ and ‘Road’ riding modes along with Automatic Stability Control (ASC). BMW Motorrad also offers ‘Dynamic’ and ‘Touring’ equipment packages to make your motorcycle even more versatile.
