The Avan Motors Xero+ electric scooter has been launched in India at a price of Rs 47,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The scooter comes with two lituim ion batteries (8kg each) that can be removed as well. With both the batteries the scooter can cover about 110km on a full charge. It takes 2 to 4 hours to charge the battery, and it can be charged using a conventional household socket. The scooter can reach a top speed of 45kmph, and has a rather generous 150kg payload. For added practicality, it comes with a 15. 2-litre top box too. Damping is courtesy the telescopic forks up front and twin coil spring units at the rear. Braking duties are carried out using a disc brake with single piston caliper up front and a drum unit at the rear. The Avan Motors Xero+ is available in blue, black and white & red colour options. In its segment, the scooter goes up against Hero Electric Flash.
