Two new products of YObykes were launched recently in India. The new vehicles are YO Electron and YO Xplorer. As other models of the company, these do not need any licence and registration. The two variants of the vehicles, YO Xplorer ER and YO Electron ER, were also launched. All newly launched vehicles runs on 250 W motor. Apart from the regular battery, the products come with extra battery option that can travel up to 70 to 80 km/ charge. After the regular charge, YO Xplorer ER can travel up to 105 to 110 km/charge while the YO Electron ER can run up to 95-100 km. The company, Electrotherm Group, has also launched a festival offer- YObykes ka Chirag offer: Scratch karo pakka jito.

- Don't buy or you will regret laterDo not but, I bought a yo byke on 2013, it didnt even ran 1500km, now they are saying you need to replace battery for 15000 INR, the charger is also not working cost 3000INR. The service centre is worst than local companies. They commit but never do any task on time. Worst vehicle to buy. Now without battery is a scrap nothing else. Don't make the same mistake I have made. bought it for 37000 which is total loss if you calculate. so understand 37000 + 15000(after 1500km) + new charger 3000 + and electric expense for 1500 km is about 2000. So equals to 37000+15000+3000+2000= 57,000 INR. In that you can get petrol scooter with twice the mileage thats 3000km. so if you think you are saving money from fuel, then you are wrong. You can't take it out in the rain, as the circuits will be damaged and repair cost can go upto 5000INR. Total waste dont buy.Read More
