Voge, a subsidiary of Chinese giant Loncin Motorcycles, has pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the 300 ACX. This scrambler is based on the Voge 300 AC, a neo-retro motorcycle that has been well-received in many foreign markets. This brand has been gaining traction by creating quality products like the Voge ER-10 Electric bike and even the Voge 300DS ADV.
Right from the first glance, the Voge 300 ACX’s scrambler intentions are pretty clear. The bikemaker hasn’t just used different handlebars and tyres (unlike a certain Swedish brand) but has gone to great lengths to distinguish this scrambler from its tarmac-friendly sibling. For starters, the alloys have been replaced by wire-spoke rims shod with dual-purpose tyres. The two-piece seat from 300 AC has been replaced by a single-piece, scooped unit. Lastly, the floating rear fender on the AC has given way for a more traditional, frame-mounted unit.

The Voge 300 ACX is powered by a 292cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that packs 26.3PS at 8,500rpm and 23.3Nm at 6,500rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
As is the tradition with most of the Chinese brands, Voge has gone overboard with the 300 ACX’s hardware. For braking, the company has deployed dual discs up front and a single disc at the rear. Also on offer are a beefy USD fork and a link-type monoshock.
On the features front, the Voge 300 ACX gets LED illumination all around, dual-channel ABS and a compact instrument console that packs basic information.
The Voge 300 ACX has been launched in France with a price tag of EUR 4,295 which roughly translates to Rs 3.75 lakh. It is unlikely to come to India, but if you are on the lookout for a Scrambler-style motorcycle, Royal Enfield might just have the right thing for you.
