Kinetic Green has announced its future expansion plans of its electric two wheelers. The brand has officially confirmed that it will launch three new electric scooters in the ‘Born Electric’ range over a period of 18 months. In its official announcement, the brand says “The first model in this exciting new expansion is a premium, stylish, and tech-forward family scooter, set to launch before the festive season of 2025.” The announcement also goes on to say “(It’s)....thoughtfully designed to blend timeless retro-aesthetics with ultimate convenience for the users.”
From these statements, it’s clear that the brand is referring to the Kinetic DX electric scooter. It was spotted testing in Pune recently, and looks pretty well-finished. Expect the EV maker to launch the scooter by around August 2025. The brand has confirmed that it will get a TFT console with connectivity co-developed with Jio Things, which is a vehicle connectivity service provider and a subsidiary of Reliance Industries.

Kinetic also confirmed that the upcoming electric scooter will be available in multiple variants at varying price points, and with different battery capacities. This isn’t surprising as we had already reported about the details of the variant names earlier.
We reckon the higher-end variants will get a front disc whereas the affordable ones will get a front drum. A rear drum is likely to be common for all. The variants could differ in terms of features and colour schemes as well. Fast charging will also be present, although we feel it might be an option. Expect the Kinetic DX electric scooter to start from around Rs 90,000 (ex-showroom).

For designing these new generation of upcoming scooters, Kinetic has partnered with ‘Torino Design’, a design firm based in Turin, Italy, known to have designed quite a few cars. Judging by the spy shots and also the design patents, the Kinetic DX Electric seems to have got the essence of the original Kinetic Honda DX rather well.
