Keeway, Zontes And QJ Motor Bikes: New Prices After GST Rate Cut - Will Get Cheaper By Rs 30,000

Chinese bikemakers, Keeway, Zontes and QJ Motor have confirmed that they will be passing on all the benefits that come with the new GST 2.0 reforms, applicable on all of the bikes and scooters under 350cc. According to the new reforms, all bikes and scooters under 350cc engine capacity will enjoy a price cut as the GST has been slashed from 28% to 18%. 

Here is our list of all the bikes and scooters from Keeway, Zontes and QJ Motor with the new official prices that will come into effect from September 22:

All of these manufacturers have a variety of motorcycles and scooters starting from 125cc to 350cc including retro bikes, ADVs and performance streetfighters. The Keeway RR 300, in particular, was launched recently, and was already the cheapest 300cc faired bike in India. It is set to get even more affordable, so those who are seeking a unique-looking faired bike will find the RR 300 appealing. The Zontes 350 range also offers good value for money with the GST 2.0-pricing, especially considering the fact that they’re the only bikes in India with a 350cc liquid-cooled engine. 

As for the bikes from QJ Motor, the SRV300 cruiser is pretty unique in its segment thanks to the liquid-cooled V-twin engine. Interestingly, the Keeway V302C also uses a similar 300-odd cc V-twin motor churning out similar levels of power and torque as the SRV300. So if you’re looking for a 300cc V-twin cruiser, you can simply save over Rs 1 lakh and just buy the QJ SRV 300 instead. They even look somewhat similar, so you’re not really losing out on much.

The GST cut aligns perfectly with the festive season of Navratri and Diwali, and we hope they help with the overall sales. Dealers may also be expected to further sweeten the deal with financing schemes for buyers.
