IBW 2016: Biggest Biking Festival Kicks Off

The India Bike Week (IBW) 2016 opened its gates to riders today at 11 am. The event looks to shaping into the biggest and baddest of its kind on Indian shores. This time around Goa is all set to host as many as 12,500 riders and biking enthusiasts from across the world. The fourth edition of IBW will mark its beginning with IBW National Stunt Championship at 12.30PM. The 2-day festival is crazier this time with added attractions. The venue of the show has now been shifted to Aprora from Vagator beach in Goa. Brands like Triumph, Ducati, Harley-Davidson and Benelli will also be showcasing their latest products.

Some contests will be introduced for the first time at IBW including a feature film screening, which will be judged by a jury panel consisting of various film directors and writers. Also, Dirty Enduro challenge will be a great competition for amateur motocross teams and they will get a chance to win a cash prize of Rs. 10,000. The event has been very popular since its inception in 2013 and other than bikes, it has many attractions like performances by international singers and bands, concerts and short films.

Coming to the bikes again, the first day of IBW 2016 will witness H.O.G. Rally, unveiling and showcases from different motorcycle manufacturers, stunt competitions and much more.
