#EICMA2015: UM Renegade Sport S Unveiled

UM unveiled the India-bound Renegade Sport S during the ongoing EICMA Show at Milan. The bike is equipped with 279cc, single-cylinder, electronically fuel injected, water cooled engine which is mated to a 6-speed transmission that delivers the power output of 26.6PS at 8,600 rpm and the peak torque of 22.76Nm at 6,300 rpm.

The UM Renegade Sport S features Endurance brakes having a disc at the front but lacking ABS. It also gets 41mm telescopic Gabriel forks up front and double shock setup at the rear. The bike runs on 110 section tyre over a 17-inch rim at the front and 140 section tyre with a 15-inch rim at the rear.

The Renegade Sport S is one of the two motorcycles that will make their India debut during the 2016 Auto Expo, where pre-bookings for the bikes will begin as well. The company announced its entry to the Indian market in the last edition of Auto Expo. In India, the American motorcycle company has tied up with Lohia Auto and possibly looking to set up a factory.
