E-Went Lightning: The Smarter Ride For A Smarter Nation
E-Went’s Lightning EV is efficient, connected, and confidently stylish

The E-Went Lightning electric scooter embodies the brand’s philosophy of combining innovation with emotion. The Lightning is a sporty-looking electric scooter that’s efficient as well as connected.
At its core lies a 3.5kWh lithium-ion battery, split into two portable packs, so that it’s easier to carry wherever you want to charge. To add to that, the battery packs are IP66 rated for dust and water resistance too and a full charge takes just around 4-5 hours. You get an ERM (E-Went Real Mileage) range of up to 130km. This is calculated by E-Went on actual Indian roads taking into consideration traffic, weight, acceleration and braking situations.

Power is delivered to an IP67-rated hub motor, with a top speed of 70kmph – good enough for Indian roads. Riders can choose between Eco, Ride, and Power modes; it also gets regenerative braking.
Safety wise, the Lightning comes loaded with ABS, a side-stand sensor that doesn't let the motor turn on unless the side stand is up, and a parking safety mode as well.
This E-Went electric scooter has a rigid tubular steel frame, plush Italian leather seat, generous 180mm ground clearance, and 12-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres at both ends. Uneven roads and tall speed breakers pose no challenge, while the scooter still remains agile and planted.
To add to the convenience factor, it gets a reverse mode, anti-theft alarm, remote lock/unlock, and an intuitive touch sensor start. It has a neat colour LED console that displays everything properly, within the rider’s field of view. The dual LED projector headlight can light up objects as far as 35 meters.
The motor comes with a warranty of 5-years/50,000km – whichever is earlier. The brand is also offering a rusting warranty on chassis up to 3-years from the date of purchase.

E-WENT is a brand of electric two-wheelers from Saraogi E-Ventures, an auto components manufacturer in India. The ev-maker is making a strong foothold in the markets it is entering, primarily in east, north-east, south India – and is gradually expanding its dealer network to make its scooters more accessible in every part of the country. The company ensures that its range of scooters look modern, are reliable, and offer a good value for its customers.
