Although the year 2011 did not proved to be promising debut year for legendary Mahindra and Mahindra in two wheeler segment, but in 2012 with ongoing Auto Expo 2012 Mahindra and Mahindra seems to overcome those drawbacks. Besides showcasing Mojo and Stallio, Mahindra has also unveiled Moto3 bike. Mahindra MGP30 bike during Auto Expo. Besides these two vehicles Mahindra also unveiled its recently launched scooter Mahindra Duro DZ scooter in 125cc segment.
Designed in joint venture with two wheelers designing firm Engines Engineering, the new Mahindra MGP30 adorns features like tubular steel frame followed by aluminium swing arm. Engine of Moto3 bike is energized with 250cc single cylinder which is designed along with Oral engineering. From India, Mahindra and Mahindra is the first company to participate in MotoGP.
Another unbeatable variant showcased by Mahindra and Mahindra during Auto Expo is Mahindra Duro DZ scooter in 125cc segment. The scooter has already been on roads is southern states with price tag of Rs 45,235 (ex-showroom price in Karnataka). The new Duro DZ is energized with same 125cc engine that was integrated in its erstwhile sibling Duro. Other enriched features adorned in Mahindra Duro DZ scooter include digital ignition system, rear brake lock lever, halogen headlamp to support wider beam and telescopic forks to support comfort riding experience. It is expected that Mahindra Duro DZ scooter will be tough contender for Hero Honda Pleasure.
According to reports of Mahindra and Mahindra, the new Duro DZ scooter will play a major role in pushing up the sales of two wheelers from Mahindra and Mahindra. According to company records 1,0,268 units were sold during months between April to November 2011, which recorded decline of 7.06% as compared to 1.07,888 units during 2010. Let us hope this Auto Expo satisfies the need of Mahindra and Mahindra with successful showcases.

- It is a powerful machine...I use this from last 5 years. it gives me average of 45 kmpl . I have completed many long drives on it about 200 km in a day. And not fase more problems.. one time it become heated after only 75 km and ones it become over flow on highway after filling full tank.. these are two bad incidents when my scooter disappointed me... - Starting ProblemI bought this vehicle for my wife from Shri sai Automobile, babugarh Vikas nagar Dehradun. on 10 of july 2012, the scooter worked good for few days (approx 10 days) in chandigarh ,one day the scooter stoped starting ,we tried our level best bt it did nt start finally we took the vehicle to a mechanic, he said the battery is dead and some wiring problem , which he fixed after repairing now its hardly 8th day the vehicle is again nt starting.......today m taking it to the dealer in chandigarh lets see wt is next.... will post soon......Read More
