Zontes ZT853-R Streetfighter Unveiled At EICMA 2026
This streetfighter can go from 0 to 100kmph in 2.8 seconds and has got a top speed of 280 kmph
Zontes has showcased its new flagship naked motorcycle, the ZT853-R, at EICMA 2026. Positioned above the existing ZT703-R, the new streetfighter gets a larger 847 cc three-cylinder engine, an extensive electronics package and premium hardware.
New 847 cc Triple-Cylinder Engine
The ZT853-R is powered by a newly developed 847 cc, three-cylinder engine producing 148.5 PS at 12,500 rpm and 90 Nm at 9,000 rpm. These figures make it considerably more powerful than the ZT703-R. Zontes claims a 0-100 kmph acceleration time of just 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 280 kmph.
Aggressive Streetfighter Design
The motorcycle gets sharp bodywork, a compact LED headlamp and exposed mechanical components, giving it a proper streetfighter appearance. It also features aerodynamic winglets and carbon-fibre components across several sections of the bodywork. The aluminium single-sided swingarm further adds to its premium appeal.
Premium Hardware And Electronics
The ZT853-R uses a lightweight aluminium chassis that weighs just 10 kg. Suspension duties are handled by fully adjustable Kayaba components, including 43 mm upside-down front forks with DLC-coated stanchions and a rear monoshock. Braking is taken care of by twin 310 mm front discs with Brembo M4.30 callipers. The motorcycle also gets a six-axis IMU supporting cornering ABS and lean-sensitive traction control. Other electronic features include a bidirectional quickshifter, launch control, four-level adjustable anti-wheelie control, ride-by-wire and cruise control.
Features And Technology
The ZT853-R gets Zontes’ Intelligent Control System 4.0 with NFC-based unlocking. Its digital instrument console offers navigation and smartphone connectivity through the Zontes 2.0 app, which also displays information such as tyre pressure and vehicle location.
