Though it has 135 in the name, it's actually an 125cc scooter

    VLF Mobster 135 Launched

    Quick News Highlights:

    • Has been priced at Rs 1,29,999 (introductory, ex-showroom), pre-bookings open for Rs 999

    • Deliveries to begin from November 2025

    • India's first liquid-cooled 125cc engine scooter

Kolhapur-based Motohaus has launched the VLF Mobster 135 in India at Rs 1,29,999 (ex-showroom, introductory) for the first 2,500 pre-bookings. The booking amount is set at Rs 999 and deliveries will begin from November 2025. VLF scooters is also offering a 4-year/40,000km warranty (whichever comes first), and 1-year roadside assistance for the initial 2,500 bookings.

    Design

The Mobster 135 looks like no other sporty 125cc scooter (in a good way, of course) currently on sale in India. The front seems to be inspired by the BMW S 1000 RR superbike with its twin headlamps, and even the taillight is split. Both the brake levers also get factory-fitted lever protectors, and it has a medium-sized windscreen as well. It gets 4 colours: Neon Venom, Crimson Override, Ghostlight, and Ash Circuit.

    Engine

The VLF Mobster 135 has a 125cc, single-cylinder engine that’s liquid-cooled – the only one in India in the scooter segment. It makes 12.26PS at 8,250 rpm, 11.7Nm at 6,500 rpm, and paired to an automatic transmission. The top speed is 100kmph and mileage 46kmpl – both claimed figures, and pretty healthy for a sporty scooter.

    Underpinnings

This scooter gets a telescopic fork, dual gas-charged shocks, 230mm front and 220mm rear disc brakes. It has 12-inch wheels with block pattern tubeless tyres at both ends – 120-section front and 130-section rear. It weighs 122kg kerb (fairly light, we’d say), has a generous 8-litre fuel tank, a reasonably accessible 797mm seat height, and a decent 155mm ground clearance.

    Features and Equipment

It has all-LED lights with twin projector headlights, a 5-inch TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity (but no navigation, a bit disappointing) and a mileage indicator, keyless ignition, and illuminated switchgear. Safety features include dual-channel ABS and traction control – both switchable. It also gets an underseat storage but the brand hasn’t specified its capacity. Also, there’s a small glovebox on the apron for additional storage.

    BikeDekho Says

Even with its introductory pricing, the scooter is about Rs 50,000 more expensive than other sporty 125cc scooters like the TVS Ntorq 125 (Rs 80,900-99,800). This is for a good reason as it is assembled in India unlike its fully made-in-India scooter rivals. While the specsheet, and even the looks seem impressive, we’ll have to wait and see how the public reacts to this new scooter.

    VLF Mobster

This is especially considering the fact that VLF is a relatively new brand in India with presence only in New Delhi, Pune, Bengaluru, Goa, Sangli, Kolhapur, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pimpri-Chinchwad, and Ratnagiri with a total of 9 showrooms. If you live in one of these cities, and are looking for an extremely unique, powerful 125cc scooter, then the VLF Mobster 135 seems like a good option to consider.

Stylish and good looking. Also petrol tank capacity is more than another moped. comfortable and I like naked handle bars. mileage is also good . colour and graphics also catchy . And suspension is better than other moped. I get 44 kmpl milage and comfortable ride . Handling is good and braking is also great. I use this bike for smooth ride and better suspension. Petrol capacity is almost 8.4 liter and in full tank you ride almost 350 km. I recommend this bike to all of like daily commuters, long riders, begineers.
