    Avan Motors Trend E Launched In India

    The new electric scooter is priced at Rs 56,900 (ex-showroom)

    • The Avan Motors Trend E can  be booked for a token amount of Rs 1,100.
    • Powered by a lithium-ion battery; available in single and double battery variant. 
    • Has a claimed range of 60km or 110km, depending on the variant.

    The Avan Motors Trend E has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 56,900 (ex-showroom). The third e-scooter from the Pune-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer is available in two variants - single battery pack and double battery pack that offer a claimed range of 60km and 110km, respectively. The latter costs Rs 81,269. The top speed of both variants is rated at 45kmph. The scooter is powered by detachable lithium-ion battery packs that takes anywhere between two to four hours for a full charge and Avan says the scooter has a maximum payload of 150kg. The Trend E can be booked for a token amount of Rs 1,100km.

    The Trend E gets telescopic forks at the front and a coil spring shock absorber at the rear. It also gets alloy wheels, front disc and rear drum brakes. The scooter will be available in three dual-tone colour options - red-black, black-red and white-blue.

We are delighted with the response the scooter has received in its pre-launch phase and are confident that customers too will appreciate the Trend E and all its features,” said Pankaj Tiwari, the business development head, Avan Motors. 

    The company has 33 dealerships across 11 states, including Rajasthan, Punjab, West Bengal, Manipur, Assam, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Odisha. Avan plans to expand its reach to 100 dealerships by the end of 2019.
