One should make a note to switch the engine off while he is at a halt like the situations of standing on a red light, talking to someone.

One should keep himself updated with the bike's performance regularly so that changes could be made accordingly to enhance the performance.

Improvement to the mileage of the bike with technical aspects:

1. The most important element of the bike, the engine needs to be serviced regularly to provide better mileage and fuel efficiency. Also the originality and quality of the engine must be paid greater importance.

2. Next is the oil which is to be used with the engine so as to maintain the efficiency. The engine must be poured with oil that is preferred by the company of the bike and no compromises with this should be made.

3. Application of sudden brakes should be avoided and a uniform speed should be maintained without playing with it. Also the owner should regularly visit the mechanics with the bike.

4. The customer before purchasing a bike should consider the mileage as well as displacement of the bike as per requirements because the fact says that a low displacement assures better mileage rather a high displacement bike. Also one should not expect a mileage more than that mentioned with the bike.

5. It is to be noted that a warm engine provides better mileage instead of cool one so try your best to keep the engine warm.
