The Ampere Magnus Grand comes with a simple yet likeable design and looks quite appealing for a daily commuter. The Magnus Grand also gets premium touches like golden-coloured badging and new paint schemes which makes the scooter look quite premium. From the front, the Magnus Grand looks similar to the Magnus Neo; it is slim and compact, and the side profile makes it look utilitarian but stylish. The Magnus Grand also gets a new and improved seat with a brown seat cover that also adds up to its premium appeal.
Ampere Magnus Grand Motor And Battery Pack
The Ampere Magnus Grand comes with a 2.3kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery pack. This e-scooter is powered by an electric motor that makes 1.5kW of nominal output and 2.4kW of peak output. Its claimed range is 118km, the top speed is 65kmph (claimed), and it can sprint from 0 to 40kmph in 6.5-seconds. While that’s not super fast, it should be sufficient for your everyday city rides. The Magnus Grand takes 5-6 hours to get fully charged. This should allow you to charge the scooter while at work, or at night when home.
Ampere Magnus Grand Chassis, Suspension And Brakes
The Ampere Magnus Grand uses a steel tube frame and comes with conventional telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers. It misses out on a front disc brake setup, but gets 130mm drum brakes at both ends with CBS (combined braking system). While disc brakes would have been appreciated at this price point, we can only hope the drums do the job well. The e-scooter runs on 12-inch steel wheels with 90-section tyres at both ends. At 108kg (kerb), the Ampere Magnus Grand is quite a light weight scooter for city commutes.
Ampere Magnus Grand Features
The Ampere Magnus Grand gets all-LED lights along with an LCD console, however smartphone connectivity is an optional extra. It gets a 22-litre underseat storage, with a decent sized cubby hole on the apron. The Magnus Grand’s seat has a new cover as compared to the Neo, but it remains to be seen if it's more comfortable. Ampere is offering a warranty of 3 years/ 30,000km on the vehicle and 5 years/75,000km on the battery, that should give the owners some peace of mind.

It looks premium and gives good range for daily office rides. Itls been a pleasant experience so far, the scooter feels stable at regular city speeds, and i get a 85-95 km per charge. Suspension is decent, and overall it is comfortable for daily short rides and medium rides. I am using the bike for daily comuting and it performs well.
