Watch: This American Man’s Innovative Way Of Carrying Groceries Has Us ‘Hooked’

Ever gone overboard shopping right after salary day? And after checking out the items, realised you’re on a bike, with next to no luggage-carrying capabilities?  Well, that’s precisely what happened with this American man, who had an abundance of groceries, and only an electric kick scooter to get home. However, rather than booking a taxi, he chose an innovative solution, which you can see below:

Rather than depending on storage of any kind, the man put on a reflective vest with multiple plastic zip-ties, each with a carabiner hooked in. The man hung a plastic carry bag on each of these carabiners, only needing some help to reach the carabiners attached to the back of the vest. And finally, he put the heaviest item, a watermelon, into a baby harness!

Now, though such ingenious solutions (jugaad, to us Indians) are a common sight, there’s no denying that riding on public roads with free-hanging items poses a threat to both the rider as well as other road users. Moreover, the man isn’t wearing any protective gear either. Hence, though this may see us being called party-poopers, we would have preferred if the man had put all the items within a securely fastened backpack, and worn requisite protective gear. And finally, on the topic of electric kick scooters, Xiaomi recently launched the 4 Ultra, with a claimed 70km range, and quite some modern features as well.
