India's largest auto maker, Mahindra Two-Wheelers plans to launch a new electric scooters during the end of current calender year. Indians are gradually warming up to electric scooters. Mahindra 2Wheelers is setting to join current market leader Electrotherm, with this latest development. Right now, most owners have used their electric vehicles for the short distant areas or short commutes across town. The company is really developing electric scooters with the ranging from the entry-level 250W to the full works 1KW capacities. Mahindea & Mahindra is also going to enter into motorcycles segment by 2011. The company's most specious scooters; Duro and Rodeo, which are really giving wonderful performance in the Indian auto market. the company has sold 70,000 units of these scooters in inda.
