The manufacturing of Husqvarna Motorcycle started way back in 1903 in Husqvarna, Sweden. In fact, the company started off their business by manufacturing bicycles and it was only later on that it started its venture in the world of motor bikes. They joined the MV Agusta group in the year 1987 which eventually led to the company's headquarters being moved to Varese, Italy.

The year 2007 saw the manufacturing giant BMW purchase Husqvarna and has kept it as a detached unit ever since. BMW has never tried to interfere in the internal procedure of Husqvarna as it continue to manufacture bikes like always in Italy. For BMW, Husqvarna as a two-wheeler is on the same lines as MINI for BMW cars. Husqvarna Nuda 900R would be the first bike from Husqvarna to hit the Indian market. The company makes a variety of Off-road, Supermoto and Street bikes. Bikes that feature less than 900cc engine capacity would not be launched in India as they would require homologation. The Husqvarna Nuda 900R, on the other hand, is backed by the 900cc engine and produces a maximum torque of 100 Nm. The bike also garners a fully adjustable 48 mm Sachs forks at the front along with Ohlins rear shock.Weighing 175 Kgs, Husqvarna Nuda 900R uses carbon fibre which facilitates amazing power to weight ratio.
