Eider Motor Launches Budget Cruiser “Ruddy” at Rs. 54,211

With an aim to become one of the leading two-wheeler manufacturers in India, Eider motors have launched a budget cruiser to compete with the Bajaj Avenger 150 Street. Christened as the Ruddy, the bike has been priced at Rs. 54,211, making it the cheapest cruiser available in the Indian market. 

The Eider Ruddy is powered by a 150cc single cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke engine which produces 11.5bhp and 10.5Nm of torque and can attain a top speed of 110kmph. Aesthetically, the Ruddy looks pretty average and does not offer much to appeal customers. Other highlights of the motorcycle include a raised handlebar, contoured seat, long travel forks up front, matte body colour and alloy wheels. 

The bike hasn’t got much in terms of features and appearance, but considering the price tag it comes with, some may consider buying it. We appreciate the efforts that the company is putting to bring interesting products at multiple price points. Presently, the company has 65 dealerships across the country. 

Located at Telangana state, Eider Motors currently imports CF Moto products to sell them in the Indian market. The company sells CFMoto’s four motorcycles that include 650NK, 650TK, Jetmax 250 and the small capacity 150NK. CF Moto is a Chinese manufacturer which works on producing reliable and cost effective motorcycles and scooters.
