BREAKING: Kinetic Green Zulu Electric Scooter Launched
The electric scooter charges from 0 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes, even with a 15A socket.
Kinetic Green has launched the new Zulu electric scooter in India at an introductory price tag of Rs 94,990 (ex-showroom, Mumbai). With the Zulu, Kinetic has gone with a new design language. The electric scooter, with its quirky and stylish looks, aims to appeal to the youth. The e-scooter is available in six colour options: Pixel White, Insta Orange, UTube Red, Black X, FB Blue and Cloud Grey.
The Kinetic Zulu is equipped with a 2.27kWh Li-ion battery which, if driven at 60kmph within the city, promises a range of up to 104km. The battery takes only 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 percent even with a 15A socket. Kinetic is providing the battery as a subscription plan under the “pay as you use” model, under which you don’t pay for the battery but rent it. Kinetic says this subscription plan will reduce the cost of ownership by 35 percent.
The Zulu electric scooter comes with a front telescopic fork and dual rear shocks. With a ground clearance of 160mm, the scooter should be able to go over bumps pretty easily. It rolls on alloy wheels, and comes with front and rear disc brakes for added safety.
Features on the Zulu electric scooter include LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL), a digital speedometer, an automatic power cut charger, a USB charging port, a light in the boot along with a storage compartment at the front, and a utility hook for bags.
The important components of the scooter, such as the battery, motor, and controller, are dust- and water-resistant with an IP67 rating. Zulu also offers KG-Trust, essentially a 5-year extended warranty, and KG-Assure, for roadside assistance and service support. Kinetic says the Zulu’s battery can last for over 120,000 kilometres.

Decent bike for city use using it for a month and it seems working quiet worry free breaks are a little concerning but it is manageable. Battery life can be improved. Detachable battery would be a great option that they should think of. As charging points are difficult to find in a situation if the battery is exhausted. Read More
