BNC Motors Corbett 14 Latest Updates
Boom Motors has launched the Corbett e-moped at introductory prices starting from Rs 86,999 (ex-showroom). The EV boasts India’s biggest battery for an electric two-wheeler. Full details in our story.
The Boom Corbett electric moped comes in two variants: Corbett 14 and Corbett 14 EX, priced at Rs 89,999 and Rs 1,24,999 (ex-showroom), respectively. For the money, the Corbett 14 offers a spacious 30-litre understeat storage, LED lighting, anti-theft and accident detection, and even a parental mode.
The base variant is powered by a 3kW motor mated to a 2. 3kWh battery, allowing it a top-speed and range of 65kmph and 100km, respectively. Being the more premium variant, the Corbett 14 EX uses a 4kW motor with a 4. 6kWh battery (the biggest for an electric two-wheeler in India), giving it a 75kmph top speed and an impressive 200km claimed range.
The moped gets an exoskeleton frame, sprung on a unique trailing link four-point adjustable suspension at the front with twin shocks at the rear. It rolls 14-inch alloys, clamped by single disc brakes at both ends. A combined braking system is standard on the Boom Corbett.
Boom Motors plans to start deliveries by January 2022.
