Okaya has been a well known company in the Indian battery manufacturing business for the last 40 years, starting off with lead-acid batteries for both automotive and industrial/commercial uses. For the last three and a half decades, the company has also garnered experience in electronics through their Microtek brand which has been manufacturing UPS systems and inverters. More recently the company has ventured into not just the manufacturing of electric scooters, but also providing end-to-end solutions in the electric mobility space.
They currently have two high-speed electric scooters in their portfolio - the Faast F4 and the Faast F2B, along with two low speed models - the Freedum (offered in both Lead-acid and Lithium-ion variants) and ClassIQ+. Apart from these e-scooters, Okaya also provides lead-acid and lithium-ion battery solutions to other manufacturers, and they offer a plethora of charging stations ranging from 3.5kW portable units to 142kW 3-in-1 fast chargers.
