A couple of days ago, we told you that Mahindra is re-designing its flagship motorcycle Mojo 300. A semi camouflaged test mule of the updated bike has been spotted recently in Pune, with some drastic changes in design. The bike has got a bigger fuel tank, which is looking more masculine. Seat of the bike gets some minor changes in front to match with the new fuel tank design. The new seat also gets a dual tone fabric.

We also told you that Mahindra is developing a new 300cc engine for Mojo, which was confirmed by Mr. Viren Popli, Executive Vice President, Mahindra Two Wheelers. "The Mojo when it was unveiled was just a concept. The masses were taken aback by the design but ever since then we at Mahindra Two Wheelers have been making multiple changes to the motorcycle. Our Pune plant is developing a special 300cc motor that is being greatly influenced by the MotoGP Mahindra Racing Team. The Bike still has a lot of progress and development to go through. The bike is still under rigorous testing but there is no definite time scale as to when we can have the bike displayed for the public," he said in an interaction with us.

Engine of the test mule is also looking different from the model showcased at the 2012 Indian Auto Expo. Previous engine of the bike was claimed to deliver 26bhp of maximum power and 25Nm of peak torque. However, the power output of the new engine might vary from that.

The updated model of the Mojo 300 roadster is looking better than the previous model, due to the cosmetic changes. It is expected that the company will bring this new model along with its new automatic scooter at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo.

This is all we have for now, stay tuned with us to get more updates on the upcoming Mahindra Two Wheelers.

Perfect Mixture of Touring, Cruiser, and a Sport bike.
I like my Mojo bike because of its aggressive look and style. it's a rare bike to see in public. The cons of the bike are that it is very heavy so for those who want to lean in the corners it is not a good option for you other than that it's a perfect mixture of Touring, Cruiser, and Sportbike.

      Excellent Bike.
It's an amazing bike with a huge fuel tank of 21 litres and Pirelli tyres provide very well on road grip even in wet conditions. I have driven this bike for 35000 kilometres and it still performs like a new bike. It is a very powerful bike and great for highway touring. The service and maintenance cost is very low.

      Most Underrated Bike
Mojo is one of the most underrated bikes in the touring segment that suffered kindof 'step behavior' from the company. Being ridden it for almost 17k in a year, the only issue faced to date is lesser service center across North India. The bike is undoubtedly one of the best manufactures in India. The color variants are really cool. High ground clearance, Pirelli stock tyres( would recommend upgrading to Scorpion STR ) are really helpful, making it both a city street bike as well as a worthy off-roader. It goes easily on any type of road. Only of Mahindra would lay some more focus over it, the bike is a hidden gem from the public.

      Mahindra MOJO
Wicked looking bike few may like and few may hate, riding comfort is really good, the engine is very refined compared to many Indian bikes available in the market, I can say the best-refined engine. The drawback would be the breaks and no ABS, most of the weight is on the front end of the bike. Torque and power are good, awesome to cruise on highways (120 to 130 km's) without strain. Mahindra needs to market the bike properly.
