Brutale Expert Review
The global naked street bike segment has been completely revived after the launch of Brutale series, introduced by MV Agusta. The series comprises of four models, each wrapped in a unique street bike apparel with different engines. With a huge success in the super sports category, the company launched Brutale series to strengthen its roots in the naked streetfighter segment as well.
MV Agusta Brutale series is equipped with fine-tuned MV Agusta powerplants that range from 675 to 1090cc. The motors are managed by Integrated Ignition-injection system with multiple injectors. These pushes the beasts to a maximum speed of 225kmph and above.
MV Agusta Brutale range is crafted fantastically on ALS steel tubular trellis frame composed of aluminium alloy material. The machines move on high-end tyres equipped with stylish aluminium alloy wheels. The stopping duties are carried out by 320mm dual disc brakes with four-piston calliper at the front and 220mm single disc with twin-piston calliper at the rear. The braking system is blessed with Bosch 9-plus Anti-Lock Braking System with Rear Wheel Lift-Up Mitigation (RLM). The suspension system includes Ohlins upside-down telescopic forks at the front with progressive Sachs monoshock at the rear.
The range comprises of Brutale 675, Brutale R 1090 and Brutale 1090rr that comes with advanced slipper clutch, which prevents the rear wheel from locking under strict conditions. The range also comes loaded with a traction system to ensure safety and stability in high speeds and adverse road conditions. The fairing of these machines is made up of thermoplastic material to carry out weight reduction.
Coming to the rear, the bike features one of the best tail end sections so far. The bikes feature short sporty seat. Rear fender is absent in Dragster, which gives the bike a bare athletic rear. A raised pillion seat offers a higher stance and killer look. Brutale 675 comes with an electronic quick shifter that offers easy gear shifting without the use of clutch. The exhaust system of MV Agusta Brutale comes with one of the best designs in the world. It has multi silencer pipes that appear in a descending order, which looks super-stunning. The digital cockpit of these bikes comes with amber-backlit and showcases plenty of information to the rider.
