Specifications of Mahindra Rodeo

I wanted to buy a new Mahindra Rodeo but I am disappointed to know that it is discontinued. It is one of the best scooters with amazing features like lightweight, lots of luggage space, front fueling, Smooth ride, and cool look with 125 ccs. Please make this vehicle available for sale.

It is a 125 CC and runs very smoothly on any type of roads. It is a great bike.

I bought rodeo rz is april 2013. I was very disappointed with the mileage. I am getting 25 kmpl which is far below the acclaimed ARAI mileage of 59.28. When i raised this issue, the reaction of the dealer hint me that i have wated my money. Digital connsole is not water proof i guess as mine stopped working after a year and when it was working its is not reliable at all. Very tough to maintain this scooter as normally mechanics wont take a chance to repair it. It isvery difficult to find mechanic for it. Not even eligible for zero star rating.

I'm using it since 2013. I never faced any major issues with this scooter. Till now it is the best looking scooter I've ever seen. No scooter till day providing digital speedometer with mood colors. No other scooter has body colored rearview mirrors. No other scooter you can find in 125cc segment. Activa, access all are underpowered. You will feel the difference once you ride it. Suspension is smooth. Mileage is not that great though I'm getting 35kmpl. Since it's been 5 years, i had to change the battery, headlamp(3-4 times as I used to drive at night), headlamp switch and headlamp holder. Its kick-start also dead. But i don't care as electric start works well. I used to do regular service at mahindra service centers but now it's difficult to find the one as I shifted my house. They need to provide tubeless tyres as tube tyres as dangerous. Once it got punctured while I was driving but luckily i was on slow speed. Overall I love this scooter.

Here is my review on Mahindra Rodeo SYM after using it for 8 years, Most Worst two wheeler in the world Stucked with it from 2011 want to get rid of it from my life, So what's bad about it: 1) Millage is extremely poor, 2) Head Light is very low. 3) Ground Clarence is low, (154 mm) (it will hit the bumper) 4) Petrol tank is very small (4.5 Ltrs) (no reserve) 5) Engine will not good in long run. 6) Digital Instrument Cluster is not working any more after 2 years (service center charging 6500 rs for it) 7) Service center guys in Jamshedpur , don't know how to open the scooter. 8) As it has propitiatory opening mechanism facing huge difficulty to do the service in local garages. 9) Breaks are not responsive. 10) Scooter Electronics is not trust-able Wow so many con's are there any Pro's : Yes 1) Engine Pick-Up is excellent. 2) Throttle is impressive. 3) good space under the seat.

I have purchased Mahindra Rodeo vehicle in 2012 from the day when I purchased the vehicle I am always facing problems. Its one of the worst vehicle in India which is not even suitable to touch. It always create problems . The most horrible bike I ever saw in my life. (It wont give mileage as we expect, digital meter won`t works properly, starting problem etc so many)

mahindra rodeo RZ me kafi sari khubiyan h, lekin iska battery back up kafi kharab h. hm daily 5 km gari chalata hun ,or gari kafi achhi h. lekin agar hm 2 ya 3 din nahi chalate h to gari self start nahi leti h.or ye tab h jab gari kharide hue matra 8 monts hi hue h. fir mujhe servicing center ja kar gari khulwa kar battery recharge karwana parta h. jab engineer se bat kiya to wo bolte h ki dry cell lagane se ye problem solve ho jayegi. agar aisi bat thi to company ko pahle hi dry cell lagana chahiye tha. jisse ham jaise office goer ko aisi problem ka samna nahi karna parta. thanks amit kumar

I have purchase Mahindra Rodeo. Every now and then there is some problem. I had to call 4-5 times to Mahindra's mechanics to start it. At one time I have faced problem at night. After 6 pm no help, and local mechanics don't want to touch it. It is blunder mistake of my life. Now I will attach a board on it so that other can avoid to purchase this.

mahindra guys are cheating people by selling their bikes on a note that it gives 45 km pl mileage. but only after buy and using that bike you will come to know the average is 25 km pl and maximum it goes to 30 km pl . and according to the mileage the pricing of rs 51,000 on road i feel is very very expensive. please don't become a fool and buy a rodeo like i have become one. if you will buy it you will get jacked as you wont be able to keep it and wont be able to sell it in a decent price...

my wife bought Rodeo few months back and each time she wants to drive I have to kick start The self start worked only first few months The batter drains automatically The service fellow told me that the problem is due to lack of running and he suggested to run the vehicle 8 KMs to recharge the battery once started Sounds so funny He says no warrenty on battery abd the fault is ours becuse we dont drive the vehicle everyday wonderful comment from the service man So those who desire to buy Rodeo plese be prepared to drive everyday 8Kms and above otherwise you pain your leg by kick start
