Harley-Davidson Heritage Variants

Harley-Davidson Heritage Design
The Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic design draws on Harley’s long history of touring bikes. It features nostalgic cruiser lines, a large front fender, chrome detailing, and a wide saddle-like seat. The bike’s retro stance is complemented by its hidden rear monoshock, preserving the traditional ‘Hardtail’ look while improving comfort. Notably, it gets side panniers and a large windscreen as standard.
Harley-Davidson Heritage Engine
At the heart of the Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic lies the ‘Milwaukee-Eight 117 Classic’ - a 1,923cc, V-twin, air-and-oil cooled engine. It produces 92.4PS at 5,020rpm, 156Nm at 2,750rpm, and is paired to a six-speed gearbox.
Harley-Davidson Heritage Chassis, Brakes, Wheels, Suspension
The Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic uses a ‘Softail’ chassis, 49mm telescopic fork and monoshock. It gets a front 4-piston fixed caliper and a rear 2-piston floating caliper, paired to solid brake rotor discs. It gets 16-inch wheels with a 130-section front tyre and 150-section rear - both Dunlop ‘Harley-Davidson Series’ bias-ply tubeless tyres. Seat height is 690mm, ground clearance is 120mm, kerb weight is 326kg and fuel tank capacity is 18.9 litres.
Harley-Davidson Heritage Features
The Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic comes with a fuel-tank mounted 5-inch analog, round console with a small LCD inset showing gear position, odometer, fuel level, clock, trip, range, and the speedometer. It gets adjustable brake and clutch levers, as well as 3 riding modes: Road, Rain, Sport. Rider electronic aids include dual-channel ABS, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and controls for: cruise, traction, drag torque slip, and deceleration slip. Also included are cornering-specific ABS, traction and drag torque slip control.
Harley-Davidson Heritage Competition
The Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic competes with other retro cruisers and touring bikes like the Indian Chief and Super Chief range, BMW R 18 Transcontinental B, and the Triumph Rocket 3. All are priced around the same, ranging between Rs 20-25 lakh.
