BSA Gold Star 650 Engine
The BSA Gold Star 650 is powered by a 652cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It produces 45PS and 55Nm, and comes paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
BSA Gold Star 650 Chassis, Brakes, Wheels, Suspension
The BSA Gold Star 650 gets a 41mm telescopic fork and 5-step preload-adjustable twin rear shock absorbers. For the braking, it gets a 320mm front disc and a 255mm rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS as standard. BSA Gold Star 650 Design
The Gold Star 650 has a bulky design. The bike has iconic BSA design elements like the circular headlamp, chunky indicators, teardrop shaped fuel tank with a chrome garnish that give the bike an old school charm. We think the bike looks fantastic in the ‘Silver Sheen’ colour scheme, that has the chrome finish all over, followed by the ‘Highland Green’ colour scheme that looks similar to the iconic ‘British Racing Green’ colour scheme. The chrome-plated exhaust of the bike too gives it a very distinctive character.
BSA Gold Star 650 Competition
The BSA Gold Star 650 currently competes with the Classic 650 that comes with a 650cc parallel-twin engine and the much more expensive Kawasaki Z650RS.

- Old School Character & Thumpy
I was looking for a big bike that is easy to handle & has some character. BSA Gold Star has a classic & thumpy character that makes you feel like an old school charm. I'm primarily using it for city & highway rides. I have ridden it around 6000 kms that include both city & highway rides. The bike has great rear suspension & okayish front suspension (could've been improved). I prefer to setup the pre load to 4 (against the default 2) for better quality ride. Yes, Definitely go for it if you're looking for a thumpy performance & old school characterful bike. Suites best for city & highway commutes. It's a proper roadster with good mileage & lower end torque. Read More
- Great Bike
Bought this bike 6 months ago and done almost 9000km and the bike is running smooth did a little little bit of modification to exhaust now it sounds better than the re650’s. Good performance, very comfortable mileage is not good but enough for a 650cc motorcycle, if anyone is looking for re 650 i would recommend do take a test ride of goldstar you will not regretRead More
- Very Good Bike
The performance will be just like the classic 650. Even though It has an upward riding position, it's still a comfortable bike. Cannot tell until I know the real price from my area because what I see online isn't always real style and design-wise this would be the coolest bike ever made in India.Read More
