Triumph Motorcycles Ltd is the largest British motorcycle manufacturer and it is headquartered at Hinckley, Leicestershire, England. Its lineage of motorcycle production dates back to 1902.

Triumph has entered into a partnership with Bajaj Auto to produce smaller capacity bikes. These bikes are sold in India and also exported around the world. The first bike as a result of the partnership was the Speed 400, followed by the Scrambler 400 X, Speed T4, Scrambler 400 XC and then the Thruxton 400. Triumph’s lineup in India consists of 30 bikes. In India, their bikes are manufactured at Bajaj Auto’s Chakan plant, located near Pune, Maharashtra.

Triumph Motorcycles Identity & Tag Line

Triumph’s current brand tagline is ‘For The Ride’.

Triumph Motorcycles makes different types of bikes. Its retro-styled range of bikes like the Bonneville, Scrambler, and Speed Twin appeals to those who prefer. Its Daytona range of bikes from the 90s helped expand its brand image for a supersport manufacturer and the Tiger range of bikes helped establish its popularity in the ADV segment. Its 400cc range of bikes, the Speed 400, Speed T4, Scrambler 400 X, Scrambler 400 XC and the Thruxton 400 have made the brand more accessible in the Indian market.

    Who Should Buy Triumph Bikes?

The Triumph Speed 400 is perfect for someone who wants a 400cc bike that’s good for city riding and for highway runs as well. The Speed T4 is for someone who wants a 400cc roadster but their riding is mostly confined to the city. The Scrambler 400 X and Scrambler 400 XC are perfect for someone who likes to ride on the highway and have fun on off-road trails as well. The Thruxton 400 is for someone who wants a 400cc cafe racer and likes to go on spirited runs on the highway and mountain twisties.

If you are looking for a sub-700cc ADV, then the Tiger Sport 660 is the one for you. If you are looking for a middleweight roadster that’ll work well for the occasional highway tours, then the Trident 660 will be a good option for you. If you want the combination of performance and touring, then the Daytona 660 is a good option to consider.

If you want a middleweight naked streetfighter that you can take to the track, then the Street Triple 765 and Street Triple 765 RS are good options to consider. The Speed Twin 900 will be the perfect roadster companion for someone who likes to move at their own pace.

The Tiger 900 GT and Tiger 900 Rally Pro are great options if you are someone who likes to explore while riding but don’t want the explosive performance and heft of bigger capacity ADVs. Want a bike that will turn heads at every cafe stop and then let you have sideways fun on the off-road trails? The Scrambler 900 is the one for you. Looking for a 900cc roadster that looks exquisite and lets you ride in a composed, relaxed manner? The Bonneville T100 will be a good choice.

The Speed Triple 1200 is perfect for someone who likes outright performance combined with agile handling characteristics that’ll be fun to ride on mountain twisties as well as the track. The Speed Twin 1200 and the Speed Twin 1200 RS offer charming, retro looks with exquisite finish quality, relaxed ergonomics and smooth engine performance. The Tiger 1200 GT Pro, Tiger 1200 Rally Pro, Tiger 1200 GT Explorer, and the Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer are perfect ADV options to choose from for someone who wants top-of-the-line machinery when it comes to off-road and highway touring. The Scrambler 1200 X offers a similar performance as the Scrambler 900 with enhanced power. The Bonneville T120, Bonneville T120 Black, Bonneville Speedmaster and the Bonneville Speedmaster Icon Edition are great roadster options if you are looking for the perfect combo of timeless retro looks, comfortable ride quality and smooth engine performance.

If you are looking for the best of all worlds; mad, bonkers performance combined with an extremely comfortable riding experience, then the Rocket 3 Storm R and Rocket 3 Storm GT are the perfect options to choose from.
