Overview
Mahindra Two-wheelers is known for its fuel efficient machines. The company has a wide range of products for Indian market one of such is Gusto. Currently, Gusto 110 and Special Edition Gusto are on sale in the market. To expand the Gusto line-up, the manufacturer has come up with 125cc scooter named as Gusto 125 which is set to be launched on January 12. It will be available in Volcanic Red, Magnetic Magenta, Iceberg White, Galactic Black colors.
Gusto 125 is expected to be powered by 124.6 cc, 4-stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled engine which is same as Rodeo UZO 125 and Duro DZ. The engine is capable to delivers 10 bhp of power and 10 Nm of torque. The air cooled mill will be mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The engine of the scooter belongs to Z-series which is developed by Mahindra. The scooter might deliver a mileage of 55 kmpl. It will be also offered with electric start for an easy start.
Talking about the looks, the scooter shares its design style with its younger sibling Gusto 110 and also borrow the entire feature list that includes a height adjustable seat, traditional instrument cluster, quick storage pocket below instrument console, a multi-function remote flip key fob with an LED panel that brightens up the keyhole at night, find-me lamps, guide lamp. The front profile of the scooter features a Halogen headlamp and twin rear view mirrors fitted just above it.
Mahindra Gusto 125 is expected to be bolted on tubular underbone chassis same as its younger sibling. It will be equipped with the 90/90-12-inch front as well as rear tubeless tyres that are encircled over stylish alloy wheels. The scooter will also be fitted with front disc brake as an option and 130mm Mechanical Drum at the rear. The suspension duties would be are taken care of by Telescopic with Air Spring at the front and Coil type, Hydraulic mono shock absorber at the rear.

February 3, 2016: Mahindra Two-wheelers has been doing hard work to improve its image in the two-wheeler industry. On the same lines, the company had rolled out the 125cc Gusto. The new 125cc Gusto equipped with a 124. 6cc, 4-stroke engine that generates a maximum power of 8. 6bhp and the peak torque of 10Nm. Once launched, Gusto will lock horns with the segment leaders like Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access 125. In terms of design, the scooter is a replica of its younger sibling, the 110cc Gusto.
