I used it to learn how to ride a bike, and it was a pretty smooth experience i guess. The bike's a little heavy, so i wouldn't say perfect for beginners. About safety, it's meh. Braking system is pretty average. It's prone to slipping. Low height helps to maintain the balance more comfortably while moving on the road.
