VLF Mobster 135 Overview
The VLF Mobster 135 is a sporty scooter from the Italian manufacturer, and it comes with an aggressive design, a powerful 125cc motor and tons of exciting features.
VLF Mobster 135 Price
The VLF Mobster 135 is available at an introductory price of Rs 1,29,999 (ex-showroom), for the first 2,500 customers. While it’s the most powerful 125cc two-wheeler, its price tag is much higher than some 125cc bikes.
VLF Mobster 135 Colour Options
The VLF Mobster 135 is available in four striking colour options which suit this sporty scooter’s overall looks: Crimson Override, Ghostlight, Ash Circuit and Neon Venom. In our opinion the Crimson Override looks the best due to its perfectly balanced sporty and slightly fun vibe.
VLF Mobster 135 Variants
The VLF Mobster 135 is available in a single variant. That makes it quite an easy choice.
VLF Mobster 135 Design
The VLF Mobster 135 has a bold, eye-catching design. Its front looks sharp with a striking headlamp, tall visor and sharp lines. From the sides, the scooter continues with the aggressive styling and overall compact stance. The rear looks clean, and the body panels are quite futuristic. Overall, the scooter looks modern and energetic, making it stand out on the road from every angle. Other than this, all the available colour options enhance its overall sporty design.
VLF Mobster 135 Engine
The VLF Mobster 135 comes with a 125cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It makes 12.26PS at 8,250rpm and 11.7Nm at 6,500rpm. This makes it more powerful than most 125cc bikes in India. The scooter uses an automatic CVT. It can reach up to a claimed top speed of 100kmph, while the claimed mileage is 46kmpl.
VLF Mobster 135 Frame, Suspension And Brakes
The VLF Mobster 135 gets a steel tube frame along with conventional telescopic fork and twin gas-charged rear shock absorbers. Though, these could be firmly set up, considering the nature of the scooter. There is a 230mm front and a 220mm rear disc brake setup with dual channel ABS. It runs on 12-inch alloy wheels at both ends with a chunky 120-section front and a 130-section rear block pattern tyres. At 122kg (kerb) it is slightly heavier than the competition, while the seat height too is a bit high at 797mm. This scooter gets a large 8-litre fuel tank, and a 155mm ground clearance.
VLF Mobster 135 Features
The VLF Mobster 135 comes packed with some modern features. It gets twin projector headlamps, LED tail lamp, and clean looking LED turn indicators. The 5-inch TFT instrument console shows speed, fuel, and trip information quite clearly. It also supports smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation and SMS/call alerts. It also comes with a USB charging port for added convenience.Other features include lever guards, switchable dual channel ABS, spacious seat, decently sized under-seat storage, a side-stand engine cut-off switch and backlit switches.
VLF Mobster 135 Competition
The VLF Mobster 135 competes with the TVS Ntorq 125, Aprilia SR125 hp.e, and Yamaha RayZR. Amongst these sporty scooters, the VLF mobster stands as the most expensive one to buy, followed by the Aprilia, TVS and the Yamaha is the most affordable. However, its claimed performance could mean it’s more fun than its rivals, but that remains to be seen during our real world tests.
