TVS Apache 200 is finally making its debut to India on January 20, as confirmed by the company. Spied multiple times undergoing test runs, this bike will be manufactured at the company’s production facility in Hosur and will directly rival the KTM 200 Duke in its respective segment. Meanwhile, some more spy images of the bike are making rounds online, which show the headlamp unit of the bike along with the two LED positioning lamps and some other details.

These pictures reveal that this bike has white LED pilot lamps, which have been designed sharply and look like the devil’s horns. The primary headlamp has a single halogen bulb with low and high beam functionality. The section looks somewhat inspired from the naked middleweight - Honda CB650F and will surely lend the front end some ecstatic appeal.

Besides this, there is a spy shot of the fully-digital, white backlit instrument console which shows that it can display multiple information such as time, gear position, remaining fuel, service reminder and much more. Below the digital unit lies a black strip that houses the usual telltale lights.

In the set of images that have been leaked, you can also notice the bike’s fuel tank and lid in one. The test mule in the image seems to be drenched in silver or greyish paint giving a hint of one of the colour options. The spy images shared earlier by us had showed that the lid has been positioned away from the centre.

TVS Apache 200 will draw its power from a 200cc, four-stroke, air-cooled engine with an oil cooler that is speculated to generate ten percent more power than the KTM 200 Duke and would make the former quicker of the two. The motor is expected to churn out a maximum power of around 25bhp with 22Nm of peak torque. Other features include LED tail lamp, split rear body grab rail and Pirelli tyres.

Once launched, TVS Apache 200 will be sold in two variants - standard and ABS. While the standard version will get TVS tyres, the premium trim would come equipped with two-channel ABS along with Pirelli tyres. Like its existing siblings, the upcoming bike will also have a throaty exhaust note with a uniquely designed muffler. TVS Apache 200 will hopefully sport a price tag of close to Rs. 1 lac to keep things in favour of its domestic audience. Stay tuned for more!
