A dash of sporty with a splash of comfy

The Triumph-Bajaj bikes are some of the most highly anticipated motorcycles of this year. We have seen these bikes making test runs for a while now but this is the first time we’ve caught a glimpse of it testing at night. This has given us an opportunity to have a closer look at its LED headlight among other details like ergonomics and the Roadster’s sporty stance.

Not too long ago, Rajiv Bajaj made it official that these bikes will debut on June 27, 2023 that’s almost around the corner! We already know that this partnership has spawned two motorcycles from this new platform: a scrambler and a roadster. In this sighting, however, we got a closer look at the roadster and here’s what we’ve managed to observe.

Both motorcycles are pretty compact and sporty in dimensions and the test rider seen in the video appears to be a tall guy. From what we can see, the rider’s triangle on the Roadster appears more neutral than sporty, offering an upright riding stance. That said, he does appear to be reaching for the handlebar suggesting a sharper rake for possibly a nimble ride.

In other details, we can see that the tail rack looks big and sturdy enough to accommodate a decently large top-box. Maybe the brands are gearing up to launch a range of touring accessories along with the motorcycles. Also, what's with that eye-sore for a saree guard, Bajaj? Still recovering from the Kawasaki hangover?

In this sighting, we also got a chance to see its LED headlight in action. It looks bright! Bajaj has a decent history of making bright LED headlights and we expect this one to be just as effective. The Triumph-Bajaj Roadster will likely cost Rs 2.21 lakh (ex-showroom), and compete with bikes like the Zontes GK350, KTM 390 Duke, and Honda CB300R
