Engine

Powering the Ninja 500 is a 451cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine which produces 45PS at 9000rpm and 42.6Nm at 6000rpm. 

Suspension, Brakes and Other Details 

The bike is built on a trellis frame and is suspended on a telescopic fork and a gas-charged preload adjustable monoshock. It rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, wrapped in a 110-section front and a 150-section rear Dunlop Sportmax GPR-300 tyres. Braking duties are handled by 310mm front and 240mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS.

Features

It features a fully-digital 5-inch LCD display and comes with features such as smartphone connectivity through Kawasaki’s Rideology app. The bike also has  a slip and assist clutch. The bike doesn’t come with any fancy electronics, so no traction control or riding modes

Rivals

The Ninja 500 primarily rivals the Aprilia RS 457. Other competitors include the Yamaha R3 and KTM RC 390.
