Good Scooter But Can’t Beat Activa
I have never been a fan of gearless scooters since I owned a motorcycle earlier. But somehow the things went haywire and I decided to purchase a scooter. Though, Honda Activa has been a popular scooter in India for a long time, I thought why not go for a different one since Hero is a household name in the country with a plethora of quality products in its portfolio. I purchased the Hero Maestro Edge with the notion that it would at least give the same performance, not beat the Activa. But when my brother purchased Activa 3G and when I took the first ride, I was quite amazed the striking difference of the pick-up and acceleration. Though looks of Hero Maestro are very good and it appeals charming at sight, but performance is above average. You may or may not like it, but this is what I feel.

- Suitable For Personal Use With No HasslesI have used this bike for the last 4 years. Parts of the bike are all good and there is no issue at all in running, I use it daily to commute to my office place which is just 0.5km from my residence. It traveled a lifetime of about 20,000km. If you are looking for personal usage, this is in superb condition and can be used right away with no extra repairs/issues/permissions. All checked. I have a helmet in the boot-which can be taken along with the bike, that is just 1-month old-bought on Warangal roadside for ₹600- it is very comfortable and has cushioning inside and hard black on top, it has no front rim and opens freely downside.Read MoreWas this review helpful?
